SADHANA

Sadhana is the Sanskrit word for dedicated practice—the foundation of every artistic journey.

In this special workshop, participants will have the rare opportunity to learn directly from Amol Gandharva, an acclaimed Hindustani classical vocalist and a distinguished disciple carrying forward the rich musical legacy and teaching tradition of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty.

The session will begin with voice culture and vocal technique exercises, followed by the learning of a Raag- Bandish and a Tarana, time permitting. The workshop is open to all levels, whether you are an experienced student of Indian classical music or simply curious to explore the beauty of this tradition.

More than a lesson, this workshop is an opportunity to experience the depth, discipline, and joy that lie at the heart of Hindustani classical music.

Sadhana es la palabra sánscrita para práctica dedicada, el fundamento de todo viaje artístico.

En este taller especial, los participantes tendrán la oportunidad única de aprender directamente de Amol Gandharva, un aclamado vocalista de música clásica indostaní y n distinguido discípulo que continúa el rico legado musical y la tradición docente de Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty.

La sesión comenzará con ejercicios de técnica y cultura vocal, seguidos del aprendizaje de un Raag-Bandish y un Tarana, si el tiempo lo permite. El taller está abierto a todos los niveles, tanto si eres un estudiante experimentado de música clásica india como si simplemente tienes curiosidad por explorar la belleza de esta

tradición.
